Who We Are
CommunityAid is neighbors helping neighbors by accepting donations to create quality jobs, offering an affordable shopping experience, and supporting nonprofit partners serving our local community.
We are a faith-based, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that employs more than 500 people across our seven Pennsylvania thrift stores. We partner with hundreds of local nonprofit organizations that provide service in our store locations’ communities by donating a percentage of sales and product to support our neighbors in need.

Our stores are a reflection of our values. We focus on taking ownership to bring about positive results, choosing humility in all things that we do, and treating others how they want to be treated. You can expect to hear our speakers playing uplifting music and find Christian-related books and decor amongst other unexpected finds.
We prioritize our commitment to our faith through store closures on Sundays as well as during the major Christian holidays of Christmas, Easter, and Good Friday to provide a day of rest and worship for our valued employees.
We tithe in support of the good work of our local nonprofit partners. We support hundreds of organizations serving our local community through financial support, awareness campaigns, and Care Card distribution to provide clothing to families who cannot afford it on their own.
